He holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a doctorate in law; he specializes in constitutional law, political science, and human rights. He has pursued these and other additional studies at universities in Mexico, Europe, and the United States. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at various universities. He has authored numerous publications and delivered lectures both nationally and internationally. He is the author and co-author of several books. He has worked in the Federal Judiciary, at prestigious law firms, and in public institutions of the federal and local governments. He has served as Coordinator of the Constitutional Law and Amparo Commission, a member of the Board of Honor and a member of the Editorial Committee of the Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, A.C. (Mexican Bar Association); Coordinator of the Amparo and Constitutional Proceedings Commission of the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México, A.C. (Illustrious and National Bar Association of Mexico); and President of the Board of Directors of the Centro de Arbitraje de México (Mexican Arbitration Center); among other activities. He is currently a member of the General Council of the Centro de Arbitraje de México (Mexican Arbitration Center), the Advisory Council of the Centro Jurídico para los Derechos Humanos (Legal Center for Human Rights), member of the Faculty of Law’s Doctoral Body (Claustro de Doctores) of the UNAM, and managing partner of the firm “De Silva, Consultores y Abogados, S.C.”, among other professional activities.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Panamericana and is a graduate student at the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). His professional practice has focused on the study and practice of constitutional law. He has worked at the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico and at prestigious law firms. Currently, he serves as an associate at the firm “De Silva, Consultores y Abogados, S.C.,”, is an adjunct professor in the Constitutional Procedural Law course at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City Campus, and a teaching assistant in the General Theory of the Constitution course at the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), among other activities.
